Meditation is known to have a positive emotional and psychological impact on cancer. Lead researcher of the Tom Baker cancer centre at Albert Health Services, Dr Linda Carlson says, “We already know that psychosocial interventions like mindfulness meditation will help you feel better mentally but now for the first time we have evidence that they can also influence key aspects of your biology.”

Telomeres (DNA sequences at the end of chromosomes) were longer among a group of breast cancer survivors who had been through mindfulness sessions as compared to those who didn’t.

In the CARER program, you will be introduced to various meditations that will be uplifting as well as healing through your recovery process. Every level will introduce you to a new meditation and will hopefully bring you peace, calm and serenity.

In this segment we have provided you with bonus meditations that can be extremely beneficial to your recovery and dealing with everyday emotions.

Anxiety Meditation

The Quick Anxiety Release (QAR) meditation is one that can be done anywhere and at any time, specifically created for those who suffer from bouts of anxiety that might be distrupting your daily life. Do this meditation and feel your tension and anxiety slowly dissappear.
