Strengthen

The main objective of Level 2 is to STRENGTHEN your body and mind through nutrition, movement and mental well being. We discuss the importance of the immune system and coping mechanisms to deal with the side effects of treatment. Yoga and meditation teach you stronger breathing exercises and techniques in controlling your thoughts. You are welcome to sit on the floor using a yoga brick or a chair for your comfort during the meditation practice.

Instructions

Level 2 will be for two weeks. Watch and practice all videos and audio clips as specified below on each day. You can download and use the calendar for convenience. 

Day 15

Holistic Health Coaching – Finding your balance between primary and secondary foods.
Meditation – This OM meditation brings you deep peace and a calm state of mind. The objective is to achieve mental clarity while eliminating disturbing thoughts.

Day 16

Nutrition & Lifestyle Coaching – Here are some home remedies you can use to help combat side effects of treatment effectively.
Yoga Practice – Here, we work on strengthening the lungs through more advanced breathing exercises. This practice helps in maintaining hormonal levels, increasing mental clarity & metabolism and improving sleep.

Watch the video and follow the practice. Try to work up to 3 days a week of practice, before moving to the next level. This should be done for a minimum of two weeks.

Meditation – Specialized yoga therapists introduces a series of meditative practices that enables you to keep negative thoughts and stress at bay while creating more mindfulness.

Day 18

Counselling – Once treatment is over, what now? Dr. Sukanaya Ananth, a cancer survivor herself focuses on the essential elements, specialized tools and processes of dealing with cancer.
