Prof. Sushama Kale – Head CARER Yoga Therapist and Meditation Trainer

Prof. Sushama Kale began by having a passion for gymnastics in her school days, however Engineering to priority. At the age of 34 she was detected with breast cancer, and the incident changing her life forever. She then started her journey with a Diploma in Yoga and pursued her first project in Yoga named, ‘Breast Cancer is a Best Cancer ‘. She then did her diploma from Svyasa University, Bangalore. Followed by Degree and Master’s Degree in Yogasgastra from, KKSU, Mumbai.

She started working as a Yoga Teacher and Therapist, as a founder member of Sanskar Yoga Institute, Mumbai since 2013. During this period, she worked in the field by dealing with various cases of asthma, hypertension, heart diseases, digestive disorders, menstrual problems, obesity, arthritis, knee problems, epilepsy, diabetes, thyroid problems, cancer, back pain, neck pain, eye problems, anxiety, depression, psychosis and the mentally disabled through yoga therapy.

Her special area of interest is in Yogic Management of patients suffering from cancer, heart problems, respiratory problems and pregnancy, PCOD, psychological and mental issues.

She is currently pursuing her PhD in Yogashastra and her case work makes a headway as always. She is associated with the CARER Program as the Head Yoga Therapist and Educationist, and ensuring that all yoga therapists in the CARER Program are at top level quality and training.
